OGB Volunteer From

OGB’s signature program is its After-School Tutoring and Mentoring Program. They work closely with
the Sycamore schools to identify students in 1 st -8 th grades who would benefit from academic support or
assistance with other skills. OGB also offers a food pantry that serves about 3500 residents a year in zip
codes 45242, 45249, 45241 and 45236. They are serving our neighbors! They also provide over 700 backpacks a year to local children and provide Holiday meals and gifts to 1,500 of our neighbors in need of support.

How we help: There are many opportunities to participate in single events

  • Dinner & The Bible – provide a simple meal for them after their tutoring and stay for a Bible story.
  • Spring Luncheon Fundraiser – attend a delicious lunch with St B friends and maybe buy raffle tickets.
  • Backpack Giveaway – Volunteer for a couple of hours stuffing packs with new school supplies or help distribute them before the new school year.
  • Holiday Store – Fill a Blessing Bag with food for over the holiday break.
  • Adopt a family and provide gifts.
