Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Day

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati builds houses for first-time homebuying families in southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana. St. Barnabas Church is a member of the Eastside Coalition of Churches which works with Habitat to build homes.

No construction experience is necessary. Habitat provides all tools, protective gear (safety glasses, gloves and earplugs) and materials, although you can bring your own tools if you prefer. Teens aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult on a Habitat site, and may not use power tools or go up on ladders and scaffolding. We work under the supervision of a Habitat site supervisor.  Lunch is provided.

There are no restrictions for those 18 and older. If you need additional information, please contact parishioner John Nolan.
